Sideways Wine App

Techsys partnered with leading pan-African customer engagement firm iKineo on an application called Sideways which showcases wines and wine farms of the Western Cape.

It is an entire wine farm database in one app where you can view all kinds of information on a given farm, including a description, Google map, call button, opening and closing times, features and what it has to offer, etc. It also boasts an excellent search functionality which enables secondary filters to be added, e.g. Restaurant > Café.

The app allows consumers to check in at wine farms in order to accumulate points from which you can redeem rewards in the form of vouchers!

The app also showcases curators’ opinions of wines and wine farms, and you are able to rate your own personal favourites!
