The Sterns Fan of the Week Facebook Application was developed to increase the engagement, fan base and customer experience of the Sterns Facebook page, while also marketing the 25% Off Diamonds campaign (lovely!).
Consumers simply needed to upload a photo of their beautiful selves onto the application. By doing this, they were given a chance to not only be named Sterns’ Fan of the Week, but also receive a R1000 Sterns jewellery voucher! The winning fan photo was then uploaded onto the Stern's Facebook cover page and posted out for all the Sterns community to see. Instant star status for the No. 1 fan of the brand that sparkles!
People who had yet to display their love for Sterns had to 'like' the Facebook page in order to access the content. As a result, the Sterns Facebook page grew by over 1500 likes in the first two weeks of the campaign, we like that. The social media application was launched by a bulk email send with a high click through of approximately 12%! A great way for fans of Sterns jewellery to get involved from the word go.
