Lucky Pet wanted to use digital media to create a calendar of their consumers' furry friends so they called on Techsys Digital to deliver!
Techsys built a Facebook application to do just this - whilst simultaneously generating word of mouth and increasing brand awareness amongst the target market.
The cat lovers community was eager to participate, engaging with the brand through the easy to use Facebook mechanic which enabled them to upload, share and vote for the cutest, most loveable and best looking kitty.
The incentive? The 12 images with the most votes will be published into a calendar for 2014, with plenty of Lucky Pet hampers also up for grabs.
The home page allowed to consumers to view and vote for the felines they thought were the most fabulous! The filter functionality enabled them to sort images according to Latest Entries or Most Votes.
If they felt that their purrfect pet could be a winner, they could upload and crop their own image from Facebook or from their computers into the app. Then it was just a matter of them filling in their necessary details in case they scooped the ultimate in kitty cred - a spot in the calendar.
